This was my first animation using Pencil2D and drawing an entire “story-line” by hand. This was an interesting experience – tedious, but rewarding – and definitely helped me appreciate how much time and effort is put into more professional animations, even those on youtube channels. Althaea Portrait

I created this during my final exam period, because I had a whole week to study for my very last exam. Anyway, I had a very hard time drawing eyes, and I eventually gave up after drawing around 20 or more variations, which is why there’s a joke face on the top right (lenny face). My parents then wanted to try out my tablet, so I let them use it. My dad drew the orange parts and my mom just speckled the face with some dots. I then used my dad’s doodles to create the bottom image, which I’m not satisfied with, but oh well. I think the eyes are too small… Continue reading “Althaea Portrait”
